one more thing is there a trick to getting the front fender on without sratching the paint? I had a hell of a time getting it off of the bike, and dont want to mess up the paint putting it back on.

 

Sweet. I painted my car for the first time. Turned out great (though, 3 years later it's now starting to chip in the places I sanded half-assed. Lesson learned. The hardest part of painting for me was the clear. Not necessarily spraying it (even though it's much more difficult than base or primer) but making sure there is 100% ZERO dirt on it before you spray, or else you get cleared dirt, which looks like *** when you're done. Just be sure to tach-rag the HELL out of the thing before you clear it. Good luck.

yeah clearing sucks **** lol, but so far i dont think i have anything in it. and i should have much more pics up this weekend with it put halfway together

 

well finally got more done this weekend, but the paint i went to get friday for some reason come out darker than my first 3 pieces. I like the darker, but now i have to start over on the tank, front fender, and the left lower faring[:@]but heres whats done so far

thanks for the commets everyone. the project is comeing along great, except that the tank and first pieces came out a lighter color, but what can i say lol. again thanks for the comments, i will keep updating when i get more done.
