I didn't see your post, JP, but WOW... that looks waaay better.
I used a headlight restorer kit on my windscreen once with similar results. It took away all the blur and yellowing on my stock screen.
It was just some cheap turtle wax kit I bought at the auto parts store for like $3 on clearance. It came with rubbing compound and a few wet-sanding pads in varying super fine grits.
I took before and after shots for a 'how to' but I must have pulled the card too quick on my cam and it deleted them all.

I got it at advance auto parts. Wasn't too expensive if I recall. I'm not sure how it hold up cuz i havent done it to any of my own but it does at least improve clairity and its so easy to use. Just like a wax (and a little like a compound). Its way easier than sanding and buffing but it doesn't quite the same results.
There is another product that I am VERY impressed with in certain application that I couldn't go without. That's plexus. Another plastic polish. I use it to clean helmets and shields ad well as paint, powder coat, and plastics. Wipe down the bike with it after every couple rides. And on some plastics It has nearly the same effect (this one's more of a wax)
Outlaw: I am a business owner
Breeth: I believe they have it there. If not it's at the parts store
