freedom of movement is a biggy. its hard to do some **** if you're wearing full leathers. armor is big among the stunt industry. it provides protection and a good range of motion. icon, 661, motophoria, and a stars all have some armor.

but i usually practice in a t-shirt and jeans. i've learned how to fall and not get hurt, but it took a few skinned up knees to figure it out (tuck 'n roll!!!).

also, a lot of stuff is done at a slow enough speed so you can bail out if needed and just land on your feet. plus if you're comfortable with what you're wearing you have a better chance of not falling.

i need to get some armor, i've been sort of lazy about it and just haven't bought anything yet. but i do plan on adding the 661 SP-2 pressure suit to my wardrobe.

my whole outlook on protection is this: You won't get better if you're sitting at home nursing injuries. now i just gotta act on it........

what Err said is dead on. i try to wear my jacket more so now, when in stunting, but when you are not cruising down the road and having wind cool you off... you get tired fast and loose a lot of water.

Ya CBRchica posted some stunt videos and in one of them the guy loses it and just drops the bike on the ground and lands on his feet. I guess when you're going slow it's easy to keep your balance when you just jump off and with a cage you don't have to worry about the bike.

Mike

PS When can I start to do wheelies? And how long before I can do that stuff? Freakin awesome!

I don't mean on the bike I mean if you dump it it's easier to land on your feet than say if you were doing a wheelie at 70+mph. I had a few weak attempts at a wheelie on my video I posted. hahahaha I suck.

no one was born a stunter...ya gotta practice, then practice some more, then go back at it. the more you want it the quicker you'll learn it...

a cage is a must. i don't **** around if i don't have one, to expensive to replace parts all the time.

its definetly easier to bail and get away relatively unscathed in the lot compared to the streets (but the streets are a different rush, at least for me anyways...)
