This is from my 3rd trip to the Hocking Hills OHIO area.
56 is probably my favorite road so far.
Please leave your opinion.
The more detail, the better...
These were miles 8322 - 8331 for me and my bike.
How is my riding?
You all were great posting in my last ride video thread...please continue

^ for comparison
Video editing critique?
I still havent figured out something to use as background audio...
ideas?
Thanks.

Nice road -- where's the leafblower when you need it? Also, I didn't see you dodging any wildlife or farmers this time? Did I miss something?
You wandered in some of the turns so I'm wondering if that was just from boredom since it seems like the bike in front may have been holding you back.
Btw, what was the bike in front? Sounded like a Harley.

Nice vid bro!
Other than drifting towards the center line, you were riding pretty good!
Almost look like me out there![sm=gears.gif]
A guy that I ride with has a XB12S and let me tell you something... that bike is NOT slow!
He exits corners like it's nobody's business and has a top end to match.
I have to throw the book at him just to stay with him but my bike handles a bit better though
Hindsight, he goes through rear tires about every 2-3k miles or so!

Guess there might be more experience in your group than I have, but IMHO twisty riders should leave between 2-4 seconds from the rider in front. That way you can make your own turns without getting distracted by the other guy, and most importantly, you dont necessarily crash/run him over if he crashes. This is from experience with a few close calls.
Other than that, it's great to see an F4i being put through those twisties :P My main problem with riding the bike is I cant look at it while I'm on the road! (duh)

Starting line too late and ending the corner to quickly thereby making the cornering choppy and inconsistent and lines that go into the wall (The DY). More focus on the apex (earlier) when entering and more thought to the vanishing point (exit) at the point of apex .. . less focus on the rider in front of you. "slow in, fast out" +1 on more distance between riders to work on your lines but I'd do that on track instead of those roads. just my .34ยข

you need gear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! pants and boots...
better throttle control (will come with more riding and time)...
and kewl covered about your lines.
start on the outside of the turn then come in, not the center or inside or you'll run wide, like you did.
and lastly...have fun and be safe!

Cool videos, both of them.
Don't get killed out there.
What peps are saying about your lines just tell them your manuvering to avoid the gravel.
The curve you started from at Grandma Fayes can get really bad.
As far as your lines on the theother video thread on KY1504, I dont know what to say.
Just don't get killed.
May wanna catch 78 out of Nelsonville next time you are out that way and head to the river.
Me and a few others headed that way a while back. Good roads.

Practice working on those lines. Kewl gave good advice.
Gear up, Ride safe, and Have Fun
Nice Vid
