Default New Ride Video...KY1504...Your Opinion??

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...23509450323762

Ride video from this past Thursday.
These were miles 6181 - 6188 for me and my 06' F4i
This was the first ride with Pucks for the guy on the Buell.
I was trying to keep my knee up, because I still need to get some pants
Its not easy to keep your knee up at lean if your 6'1".
I have been practicing for months to shift to the inside...weight the inside peg...kick the knee out...head and shoulders down by the mirror...look through the turn...
And now I have to mess with that formula because I cant go further without PUCKS !!

I dont mind if you all just click the poll.
Dont hesitate to leave more detail below

Thanks
PB

I was able to keep up, without dragging Knee, but I know I would have been smoother if I hadnt been adjusting to keep my skin on.

6:07 was from watching those reflector posts go by within inches.

I havent been on that one road before, may see if the guys want to check it out tommorow. we are riding out 22 to 165 tommorow.

whats with your buddy completely running off the road in the wrong lane????

Not to offend, but I think maybe you guys should tone it down a hair, stop trying to drag a knee, and learn to
hold your lines a little better and stay off the yellow lines. (and on the road).

you guys need to stay off those yellow lines. They have glass in the paint and it will catch you sooner or later.

Nice vid though

We were getting along at a decent clip...I was not pushing enough lean angle to worry much about lines or tar snakes.
Both bikes in the video (mine and the Buell) are running Diablo-Stradas. I hit 2000 miles during that ride. I have slid them a bit in parking lot practice. they are very progressive, and seem to give a lot of feedback compared to the Orig Pilot Sports. I am still 1/4 - 1/2 inch away from the edge of the tire. Running less lean, I was up to the edge of the Pilot Sports. Different profile, different compound, I am a bit better rider now.

At 10/10ths = Track pace, I could see being scared of the lines = slipping, but at the pace we were riding, we werent as close to "the edge" as the video might make it seem.

FUZE = We were going around a guy mowing theroad edge of his lawn. The road and the next curve were clear...hence the lane change. The Buell rider did not plan to hit the far left edge/gravel. I think I took a little beter line, but I was behind and cant say what i would have done if I was in front.

Keep up the Critique.
thanks so far.
PB

We went ahead and hit that road today, man that is a nice little loop. its only like 7-8 miles, but it really has some nice sweepers. we been running 165 for awhile and never even knew that was there. nice find.
