Default New Lid

Yes I have gone and done it. I dropped my helmet and took a nice gash out of the top. Just a word of advise, DON'T PUT YOUR HELEMT ON THE TANK UNLESS YOUR HOLDING IT. Anyway that gave an excuse to by a new one. Got it from www.sporttrackgear.com for $194 shipped. It was $134, but I added the mirrored visor. It is a Scorpion EXO - 700 Fury. What do ya think???

Nice lookin' helmet! I've run HJC's so far, they're alright... but the aftermarket visors (even though they're HJC brand), don't seal (even after adjusting the slides and such) and whistle. I ended up taking a grinding wheel to part of the removable adjuster to give me a little more adjustment to get the fit tight. How does the scorpion with the other visor seal? (my wife has one, but with just the normal visor)

Nice buy! Your gonna like that helmet. I've had nothing but good things to say about my Scorpion helmets. Now if only the 1000 would come out already........

Lrn2Go, I have3 shields for mine and they all fit with no leaks and function as advertised.

I wore it for the first time today (just got it a few hours ago). I rode into work without earplugs just to see how it compairs to my other lids and found it pretty quiet. I will be going for a nice long ride this weekend and will give you a full review.

As for my old lid it was a HJC AC-11 Revenge. I three visors (Clear, light and dark smoke) that are in good shape and I am looking to see for $40 + shipping. Any takers???
