Default Nat'l Forest pics

Wanted to see how feasible it would be to ride the bike to a little swimming/wading spot in Fort Valley (George Washington Nat'l Forest) about 20 miles from my house. Put a pair of swim shorts, wading shoes, and towel into the backpack and... it worked okay, but getting motorcycle gear back on while "damp" and balancing on rocks and roots is a bit of a pita... ‍ I might have almost toppled over more than once...

Yeah, I love that area! It is Fort Valley, near Front Royal, VA. Plan on taking my CRF230 and doing some fire trail exploring in the same area soon!

Thanks! Yeah, it's wonderful while I'm there. The water is always cold and it is usually 5-8 degrees cooler there than where I live. Of course, on the ride back home, I get sweaty all over again but I don't mind...
