My 00 929. It used to be originally white and red. I bought it all original with only one scratch on the tail section. I was doing a wheelie when I came back a little too face and broke the tail section. While looking for a new tail I bought a Brand new Erion tail section and couldnt justify painting it. So I painted the white on the bike to match the tail. May sound dumb but any way. I had a friend tape off all the red and paint all the white black. and I bought white tank stickers from tapeworks. I had the ram air covers painted also. and Now I have an OEM look and a One of a kind paint option that. IT has 10 coats of clear and everyone who sees it thinks it is OEM. It came out Immaculate IMO. What do you think? By the way had wheels painted and polished at the same time.

 

Many people ask so I will clear up right now. Thats my camera mount on the tank.
