My newly purchased helmet, what you think?

Hey guys, I just got done buying this helmet... it looks good, hoping it'll be good. Im sure it cant be any worse than my HJC tattoo helmet. God that thing is ugly, AND loud... lol

here it is: THH TS-40

It was "on sale" at motorcycle superstore... figured Id give it a try at least. Only complaints are its a bit noisy, but I can handle noise as im used to my alien head I'm currently wearing but not trusting

so, whats your thoughts? anyone have a thh?

thanks for any imput,

Chris

uhhhhhh do you have a $60 head?? I dont wear any helmet unless its Snell approved I can understand not wanting a $600 helmet but they got some nice solid helmets if the $200-$300 price range.
When I had to go down New Years Eve My helmet saved my life. the helmet did its job.

Never heard of THH, I hope for your sake... it works. I just upgraded from HJC to Shoei for just under $400. I'll never go back again cause there is a huge difference in helmets.

Is it at least DOT approved? From what I've seen they mainly do open face helmets, so wear at own risk if it's not DOT or snell approved.

Arai is the best way to go for the money, in my opinion. I went down hard in a Shoei GX-1 when they first came out. Saved my head and my life. I wear full gear anytime I ride as my body could never withstand another hard crunch. I'm still taking Advil each morning from the last one.

just coz it costs $60 doesnt mean its not good ... i remember reading a survey last year where cheaper helmets outperformed their expensive counterparts

FWiW i have an expensive Shoei ($400 ???) and i have a dirt-cheap Max ($50 new from ebay)
granted the Shoei works better (noise reduction, ventilation, etc) but the Max isn't bad value for money either

thank you mene... I know the z1R helmets (now selling for 80 dollars on motorcycle superstore I believe) were the best performing helmet tested in motorcyclist magazines "blowing the lid off". that says somethin... I almost got one of those, but decided to try thh out. I have a head that is worth way more than 60 bucks... im only 20 years old (on jan 20) so I have my life ahead of me. The helmet IS dot certified... i dont give a rats expletive deleted about snell anymore after sport riders test of helmets... PLEASE do yourself a favor and read this... im going to post it again, but here it is.... Make sure to read snells official reply... makes me disgusted.
