The guy cut the sub frame, and rewelded it like an inch or so higher. It looks like it wasn't a challenging job, but, because it was all retro-fitted, the seat was a PITA to get the 2 bolts in, because they no longer lined up with the stock holes, so you had to use a bolt & nut, which, it is very hard to put a nut on a bolt and tighten it while trying to bend the seat back.

All the wiring was all done by splicing and crimping each wire to the new taillight.

And because it was a different tail, the storage wasn't tightly closed, so, there were gaps where things could fall out (So, you'd only want to store bigger things in the tail..not something like paperwork)

Didn't like how it sat, it was way too high due to the modified subframe and the VFR swing arm .. and over 32,000 miles, I figure it'll need some work soon; didn't want to deal with it to be honest.

It needs some things here and there. The engine has a tick to it, I think it could be because I started it last night and it was really cold out/hadn't run in a while .. but it could also be the cam chain tensioner I think, as that is an infamous situation with the 636's. I don't recall the bike sounding like that when I went to look at it. But, we'll get it sorted out.

Sure hope that case of miller in the background is a friends and your just holding for him. That or you do what I do and fill an empty case of miller with drinkable beer so that way at a party no one even thinks about taking your brewski's lol.
Anyways, nice ride! No beef from me on switching sides. Love the look of the ninjas. Always have.
