haha i know, its killing me that my bike is just sitting there waiting for me when i get home looking beautiful and i cant ride it.
I'm taking it to get it fixed next week so hopefully it doesnt take long to get it fixed and i cant start riding =)

you say it wont start,been sitting along time?,if so F3's do need alot of oomff from the battery to get started again.
did you jump it off of a car (engine off)?
did plugs foul (wet with gas) if so try drying and cleaning them again before you shell out more dough to investigate the carbs if the bike was running before.

 

I had the same problem after I had an RGV250 fully painted. The bike died on the way home from the motorcycle crash repair place. Turned out that the idiots got grit all through the tank when they blasted it. After a carb and tank flush/clean I never had another problem. I was a bit pissed when I saw the amount in the tank when I took it off to get to the carbs. Stupid me took it there to be repaired with a full tank too. You think they would have at least put some back for when I picked it up but it was almost empty. I did tell them on the phone before getting it that I'd be riding it home.

btw how much did the carbon fiber items cost? can't be too cheap right?
