A Meditation on the Speed Limit

A Meditation on the Speed Limit
So check it out guys, these filmmakers from Georgia State University decided to take 4 cars, go out on the 285 and drive 55, all four cars next to each other across the four lanes, to show how absurd the 55 mph speed limit is. They put cameras in the cars and had a girl filming on an overpass down the road. Check it out here. It's pretty amusing.

RE: A Meditation on the Speed Limit
I think its a great idea for someone to do something like that, but they could have got in trouble even though they were driving the speed limit. I agree with everyone that they need to revise the speed limits since they were set in the '70s (right?), but they won't do it. There are too many stupid paople that can't drive that fast and then the older people, not saying all older people dirve slow but you know what I mean. I heard there was going to be a change in the speed limit on the roads in Wisconsin, not sure if it was true or not, but with all of the corners and sometimes bad roads it would never work out and like I said there are some people that aren't smart enough to drive that fast, even if its only 10 mph faster. Just think, all the people that already don't see us when they are driving 60-65 imagine if they were driving 70-75?? It only seems like a small increse but I personally think it would end up having a negative outcome. If you don't agree with me, thats fine but just don't flame me about it. I wouldn't mind an increse in the speed limit because I feel that I'm capable of driving at those speeds, but with all of the 16 year old inexperienced drivers out there it will probably not happen.
Just my .02, good find though
