Default Making the f4i truly my own.

timeline of what I've accomplished on my f4i to make it my own. I know I'm not professional by any means, but on a poor college kids budget this is the best i can do for mods. all work with the exception of the tank being painted has been done by myself. Hope at least someone enjoys it.

Looks good. I like the last line "extremely bored in class"

I think it'd look awesome with the split seat swap!

yeah looks awesome, good work. Whyd you change the fairings, just for the looks? Annndd the question i ask everyone else thats done it....whered you get em from and howd they fit and how was the paint and finish?

I think ive narrowed my choices down to motofansclub or our site sponsor motorcyclefairingsrus but im still interested in hearing reviews from other people and other companies.

You know i really thought about it, but I've driven both an 02f4i and my 06f4i and I have grown to like the 1 piece. Its just more comfortable and different i guess.

I got mine from motofansclub168 on ebay, I was impressed with the quality of most of the fairings, I only had one problem which was with if you look closely in the pictures the tail fairing is ziptied on because they cut the grab bar holes 1/4" off from where they are supposed to be so none of the other holes line up. but after sending about 20 emails (with pictures and measurements) back and forth they are making me a new tail fairings with the holes cut correctly. Supposedly I am the only one that has ever had a fitment issue so im thinking i just got a defective one.... I would recommend them for the price you pay. My one suggestion is to make sure you get the Injected molded ones not the pressed. Injected has alot better fitment and the mounting points are stronger.

as too why I got new ones was because early this spring i laid it down going 60ish when I hit pure sand in a turn lane and couldn't turn out. so my options were to hit the curb dead on going that fast or put it on its side. I think I made the right choice. *note to self never watch your bike slide its a horrible feeling.

ok cool thanks. Yeah motofansclub seems pretty solid. Most of these companies now seem like theyre all selling similar quality products (if not the same exact products) but motofansclub seems to be one of the more popular ones and motorcyclefairingsrus seems to be good too.
