ya he is right, you have to draw alittle attention, just to make people aware of where u are. half of the people on the road don't even know there is blind spot, nevermind check them, they can't ingnore you if they can't stand you. and lets face it, even a slip-on is annoying to someone who doesn't appreciate peformance. my exhaust is LOUD, but i try to keep it down in traffic.

My idea for being seen, is stay in people's mirrors when possible. When drivin in the left lane, i ususally hug the right side. I always keep hibeams on during daylight, not at night tho.. and my bike's a pretty bright red.. Just a hindle full system, nothing extrodinary. I think the headlight makes a bigger impact than the pipes, since in a car rolling 75mph with the radio blaring, you're not even gonna hear the loudest pipes until they are passing or right next to ya..

The sound is directed out the rear of the bike. Most only hear the pipe when you are past them...

High beams are the way to go.

D&D and other obnoxiously loud pipes just **** off the public and give us a bad name.
