A lot of mixed opinions here... I like the yellow and would like to see what the blue would look like.

Think the yellow wheels does it better also. More eye catching and compliments the rest of the bikes accents

Well first let me say that i love the yellow and blue 1000rr. If I had the money right now that's the exact bike i would buy.

As for the wheels, i saw that bike with the candy blue powder coating one night. I only saw it at night so i couldn't get the best look, but for what i saw, it made the bike look really good too. His rims were a little brighter and more "candy-ish" (that word might be a stretch). They looked really good on that bike though, and i was a little partial to them. I wish i had a pic of it but i don't.

Now, after looking a while at them, i think the yellow rims look better than the blue ones. They just bring the whole bike together. But from your posts i assume you are already gettign them powder coated so it doesn't matter what i think. But a good choice on going with the yellow powder coating. Post some pics when they are all done.

yeah when you compare it to blue to yellow - yellow is more eye-popping.. i like the blue, but if you didnt look closely enough, you would just think its a stock color rim (black)..

I own the yellow and blue. I have went to look at the rims in person (sorry no pic) but the blue looks a lot better with the chrome underlay (shows through the blue) a little more expensive to get though. I am a fan of one blue and one yellow (god willing it will get done this winter). If i make it back to the shop I will post the powder coat w/ chrome underlay on th sight. It is sharp.

Here is a pic of a bike with the blue w chrome underlay. It's alot cleaner in my opinion.
