Default Long time coming... WHOA DIAL-UP!!!

Well, I've been wanting to paint my bike for a while now- just waiting for some decals and the spare cash. My buddy who paints cars for Carstar is in need of some cash - $150 got me all this...

I bought the Honda decals way back in October when I bought the bike. I've been waiting for D2M to come back with some samples for my Repsol Race decals that I wanted (go figure, I get home last night and check the mail - I get his package in a sealed USPS clear envelope - got lost and damaged, sorry bro I couldn't wait much longer!) but I got such a good deal on the paint that I had to go ahead with it. I'm gonna still get them but I'm just gonna have to wait for now.

The biggest surprise was the Yoshi pipe. The guy I got it from had laid it over lightly on the right and trashed the plastics and the Yoshi pipe. I repaired the plastics but thought the pipe was just gonna have to be replaced. Not the case, my buddyknows what he's doing and while I don't have a before on my camera, he does on his - I'll post it when he sends it to me. You'll flip out. I had no idea metal could be fixed like this - looks like a brand new pipe! Well I feel like I have a brand new bike and I just got the decals on this morning. I love them! Enough enough already...

The paint code is the new 2007 Dodge Viper color option.

Here's some pics of the day I got it, after I painted it myself, and after the pro job... lemme know what you guys think!

The very day I got it... October 5th 2006

Now excuse me while Ikiss the sky - we're heading out to Kansas City for a day and night out on the town!

Ride safe!

EDIT: Forgot to add that it's also got the new 98 F3 seat and rear plastics that I got off of Craigslist!

Got the decals off of eBay. Won the auction for $0.25! $12 for shipping. They were F2 decals and I still have the "600F2" as I never planned on using them (if anyone wants them - 2 different fonts of the same thing - lemme know and they're yours - I'll pay the shipping!).

I also forgot to add the pics of my hard hat. We have to wear hard hats while on poles so I thought I'd use the other tank logos and the CBR logo (still have another CBR in this size as well as a BIG "CBR" in the same font, just much larger - anyone can have those too) on my hat for some bling while working!

Rim tape is next...

Any ideas? I'm thinking a light charcoal or a dark silver. The black reflective looks sweet at night but you can't see it in the daytime.

I'm open to suggestions!
