Default A lesson in target fixation

Simple, but effective way to show non-riders and noobs what target fixation is like

there was plenty the guy could have done. there is absolutely no reason, other than rider error, that he should have went off the track, much less follow the riders exact path to run him over. all he had to do was keep on his line, and forget about the downed rider.

Scary part is... the first 2 times I watched the video I followed the second rider (with my eyesight) right into the downed one without even seeing the track continue to turn left. even when I knew it was coming (the second time) so it kind of makes me think I would have done the same thing.

I watched 3 more times just to force myself to mentally "cut hard left" with my eyes to try to avoid the fallen rider.

I thought only dogs could chase down moving objects that well.
