Interesting motorcycle pictures
i'm just not quite sure about the exhaust. it's cool looking - but why a 180 degree bend followed by another 90 degree bend.... that would flow terribly i would have to think. i forget where i read it - but someone said each 90 bend is like adding another 10ft. of piping.... cant imagine how bad a 180 is.... not to mention how tight each additional bend is....
In the case of exhausts, bends like that will add back-pressure.
ya i know, that's my point. while you need some back-pressure - adding more (and those bends would add much more than stock) would rob power wouldn't it? if more back-pressure was better - why would anyone run a full system?
anyways

i would rock all three of those!
Conrice,
That first bike isn't from the U.S. is it? I can tell by the Maxxis tires on it. Maxxis is a VERY popular mtn bike tire here in the States, but not a very popular road bike tire.
As for the back pressure, I'm not sure of the physics on it, but some engines do require a bit of back pressure in order to maintain a certain level of torque. While you do free up some HP with decreasing the back pressure, sometimes you will lose the torque you need. That said, a whole lot of torque isn't the main focal point for sportbikes.

i want to build one so bad. unfortunately, i owned the xs before i was into heavy modifications, welding, and fab. so it wasn't too special. but i'd love to buy and build another one some day.
just tracked it down (yes - pun intended) - it's from denmark

i can't ever affording to own one of these.... outright cost, maintenance, danger of knocking it over or going down - so i'd never ride it, etc....
but it sure is beautiful.... and i do NOT think egli vincents are horrible - they're awesome- i could care less about the original frame if the egli is 10x better
