I kinda just feel like ending myself
There is no point in living really.
Just think. There are a trillion atoms that make you up. How many atoms does this thing comprise of?

No doubt. We are truly infinitesimal, yet it goes infinitely smaller, if string theory is true.

That's what I believe in; infinite largeness and infinite smallness.

My wife thinks I'm nuts but...there is a lot to learn, and a LOT more to discover.

I read, watch and absorb all I can about the *universe* and it's various theoretical forms. Space.com is my home page and Discovery and the Science channel are on my TV more than any others.

I am the same .. I always have those channels on and record anything about space, time and the universe ..it absolutely fascinates me .. also these programs help keep things in perspective :-)

Mental exercise:
In your mind's eye, zoom into an object until you can "see" (imagine) it's sub atomic particles...
Then start zooming out level by level. Try to imagine the:
Atoms...
Molecules...
The matter the object is made of...
The parts the object is made of...
The object itself...
The place it is located....
The town...
the country..
the continent...
the planet...
the Moon orbiting arround it...
the solar system...
the galaxy...
the nearest nehiboring galaxy, Andromeda...
The universe...
And try to imagine beyond...
It's one of my favorite mental exercises/ meditations.

As much as I like to learn about what's out there, it also makes me sad, when you consider all of the marvel that our universe, or even our little speck of dust Earth, has to offer. Yet we are incapable of, even in light of this, in stopping wars among ourselves, or to even take care of the place we live in. I unfortunately do not believe humanity will reach it's full potential, unless something extraordinary were to happen ~ but I'm pessimistic.
