That guy had no skill, just luck and ***** of steel (note how he doesnt let go of the bike while he's falling over it... Could've been crushed)

It's called, "being in the zone." I've been in the zone myself a couple of times, but only on skis and skateboards. Feels great though. Trying to find my way there onmy bike, but I think I seek a path with no centerlines or surface gravel...

This is the same save Nicky Hayden did in the last Moto GP race last weekend. Skills.

 

The fact thet both moto GP and AMA superbike racers have gotten away with saves like that on more than one ocation should tell a story aboout the level of competition in both racing series.
