Also have a Vintage Dianese leather jacket but I rarely wear it while i'm actually riding hah.

I think all jackets are made that way, to be shorter in the front. Don't want to cut the circulation off at the hips from leather driving into them. Mine is short on me aswell, only i'm five foot eleven inch so your's may be smaller than I see in the picture and am thinking.

No picture of gear on work comp so I can't contribute to the fashion show.
