Default Finally got the girlfriends bike done

Sup yall, project started out as 06 silver 600rr for my girlfriend. Long story, but after her small "incident" she now knows what counter-stearing is. She laid the bike down on the left side, unfortunatly on gravel and broke the left turnsignal (fairing and all) completly off the bike like most honda's do, and cracked the side fairing, duct cover, and scratched the tail and lower on the left side. Not to mention this happend right before i got her frame sliders on...oh well. I plastic welded the turnsignal back on and all the crackes..got the bike back together and let her ride again (she wanted to get right back on it..which is good for your first spill i suppose) She now had been riding flawlessly for bout 8 months so i figured i'd give her "baby" a makeover. Sanded down all the plastics, filled and sanded and filled and sanded all the damaged parts...did i mention fill and sanded??????? Neways bike main color is white with a "pink coral effect" as secondary color. Bike came out pretty nice..spent bout 2 weeks 40+ hours on it before and after work. shot the bike with dupont chomabase and clear. Hope you all like the pics.

Looks like a female version of my bike.........LOL!!!!!!!!

Looks good, and I'm glad you did the front wheel fairing that way, because that's EXACTLY what I had in mind to do to mine this week.

All in all, looks good man.

Good work but it looks like the lowers are missing something. To much white there. You should powder coat the wheels white, that would look cool.

Thanks for all the replies guys! Sorry Joe rocket you didn't approve..can't make everybody happy. The girlfiend loves it tho..so if its good for her..then i guess it'll do. Been about 5 years since i worked at a body shop and havn't done complete paint shootin' since then...so sorta out of practice. But it came out better than i expected. No before shots unfortnualy..she was so heart broken when she dropped it i didn't want to rub it in too much. I do agree that more work and creativity could have been done to the tank..especially since thats the center piece of the bike. But she wanted a simple design..nothing to drastic..like i said, she likes it so thats what matters. The side and lower def. should have goten something done to it..but the reason i did leave it white is due to if something happens again..shooting all white will be twice as easy than masking pink off again...and since she's 5'2"..i'm sure this will happen again..she's a great rider now, came a long way..but being 5'2", you just have no leverage. Thanks again guys and keep em commin!

Looks good. You could always add some stickers to fill in...maybe some pink flowers?
