Im feeling those turn signals>..
The 2009 version of the CBR 600 RR was only expected to have minor changes, since it will only be the 2nd year after the last major update, and Honda usually has 4 year cycles for this model.
Honda claims to have made some tweaks to the engine, claiming more torque between 8,000 and 12,000 (medium range), going as far as claiming a 3.5 % increase at 10,000 rpm.
There's also new lighter monobloc brake calipers on the front end.
Besides that, no real changes, except for the possibility of opting for a C-ABS system and different color schemes
The 1k has ABS

RE: A few pics of the 09's
well daywalker your quite wrong, the rr changes every 2 years since its creation in 03 (03/04=the same 05/06= the same 07/08= the same) the only thing is that the first two generations looked and performed closer to each other then the newer generation, insisting that this is the "second" generation of the 07 08... thats why the fairings are so silimlar and the only real upgrades are brakes, engine, and whatnots. a total redesign is due in 2011... thats when you can expect to see a completely different bike.
anyways, those color schemes are tight, my only question is, is this a prototype only? or do the new fairings on the 09 really cover the strator and engine cover? check those pics out boys, no strater showing
