I'm assuming this was done legally on a closed course.

As I've learn on previous thread, GOTCBR acknowledge that in California, splitting lane is legal. As for speed limit, video look faster than actually is....those two bikes have passengers, so no way we are "racing" . But I should of follow them making a right turn...some pretty nice riding roads up there in PV...

I think the other Bike was a Gixxer

Lane splitting is generally done when traffic is at a near stand-still. Generally,
it is only acceptable at 20-25mph, as I understand it.

Gotta say, you are generally a pretty cool-headed guy, estate...but rolling between
them, while all of you are in motion is a bit rude, in my book. If they signaled you to
make the pass, then I'll withdraw my comment. Other-wise, if they had tried to form
back up (on your initial pass), that could have gone badly real quick.

Be safe, you're too cool to read about as a statistic, Ern

Ern, if you view, I was pacing them, then bike to the right gave me a signal (2 fingers) to pass...so I did swiftly...lol..I get you....safety first.

That's why I qualified my statement, big guy.

I just wanted to point out, for other viewers,
as well as your own hip self, some of the considerations.

Yeah, I'm a bit on the ****-side, but I like to think that's helped me survive
25+ years in the saddle. ;-)

No worry Ern, I appreciate your input. We live and learn....LOL.

Actually, when I turn back, I gave them a thumbs up & pointed to my GoPro...guy on the Repsol nod his head...so that's a friendly encounter....

So it is very important to express good vibe...

If he did not signal me to pass, I would of pace them until a stop light.

I'm just wondering if he will log on to CBRF and find this thread...I'll be cool if he does...
