i seriously wouldnt know - seems like the straps are supposed to keep your body relaxed and not too much pressure on any one spot. But I can see some bad stuff happening like if a car/truck flicks up a piece of wood or rock and your behind them.

Yeah no under carriage protection is it's biggest flaw. Really cool idea, just not that practical.
