Crazy! He's my new hero (sorry Schwantz). I was at a motocross track where the talk around the place was "have you seen the one armed dude on the KTM?" Well, eventually I came across him on the track and it spun me out. He wasn't fast but he wasn't exactly slow either. Saw him do a few hard landings just short of clearing 70 foot table tops and he just rode through it thanks to his steering damper of course. I had to give him props in the pit area later when I saw him. It was good to see and makes you realise that there still is hope for keeping up your passion if you're dedicated enough.

I'm trying to figure out how his controls are set up. Anyone have any insight on that?

i did some reading somewhere else all of his controls are on one side... he is probably running a double lever set up 1 for both brakes 1 for his clutch (similar to what stunters do adding a shorty rear brake lever)...

all that leaves is throttle and shifting and obv. its on the shifting side already, and they probably just transferred the throttle over to the opp. side...

Rides better than me with 1 arm and 1 leg, simply amazing what some people can do.

mind over matter.

there's another kid out there that has done it. and yes, its all the controls on one side.... the hardest part the guy said was gettin the bike going letting out the clutch lever and twisting wrist to give it gas... just to think about it makes me scratch my head.... and the guy i read about deleted the rear brake.

i can't believe the way this guy was flying around other riders.... (not to mention the fact how pissed he got when he hit the apex wrong, just riding should be a miracle ahhaha)
