RE: A Day In the Life El A
Well, to hear tell it...the cops pulled everyone over because there was some stunting going on in the front. The filming vehicle and person within (names withheld to protect the innocent) was pulled over and incarcerated for "aiding and abetting"...the explanation being, if he wasn't filming, then the folks wouldn't have been stunting. In foot-e-o-ball, I'd call that a technicality
Of course, it didn't help that the RR helicopter was up above filming as well. Also, I'm no lawyer, but I'm also guessing the police pulled everyone over because you need a permit to assemble for such a large gathering. It's completely doable, but doesn't give you much maneuvering for spontaneity, but it's necessary in the interest of public safety (large ride on the freeway may equal rubbernecking cagers might crash and/or hit a motorcyclist). Just my buck fitty....
Cops generally aren't around the wheelie spot....that's in the industrial area and not so public...so that explains why no cops were around for the stunting...
