Its not abusing powers since he actually is helping everyone else out. If you want to go slow that's what the right lane is for otherwise you should get a ticket. The cop let them off easy on that one.

Everyone abuses there powers..everyone at some point or another. To pin point cops do is just stating that there human beings. Everyone has a mind set when in higher power there better. The best example is look at the people that run this country.

I agree 100% that slow people in the fast lane cause problems. I guess without more back ground to the driver, I could be wrong. But you all know how people get when a cop gets behind them. They could all be doing 10-15 mph over, but once a cop is seen coming up, EVERYONE slows to the speed limit. And if that was the case here, I call abuse of power. But the person should have gotten over as soon as he/she could have.

And I am in no way a cop basher, I am a C.O. so this isn't bashing them. But I have seen too many cops abuse their power. Turning on lights just to get through a red light. I actually saw a cop do that, and then saw him 2 minutes later at the store just buying a drink or something.

I wish i had cops in this state that would ticket slow drivers. I wont say much on it but there is a certain type of people here who drive 5-10 under the limit in the fast lane and when you go to pass them they then get over in front of you again and think its funny. Happens quite often. They also think that there cruising in a show or something on the freeway.

I do that all the time. I slowed down the other day because a cop pulled out infront of me and then the guy behind me started tail gating me. I started getting mad and then took a good look behind me (it was starting to get dark out) noticed it was a sheriff late for his watch shift at tacobell.. so I continued on my slow path but I would never have thought a cop would do something like that. I still find it, hilarious power abusing or not

Agreed. Every township cop I know say our staties are a different breed. And personally that driver got lucky because they could have easily gotten ticketed for impeding traffic. I personally hate all the left laner's doing 65 when the flow of traffic goes 75-80.

yeah they definitely are. One of them rammed my friends car off the road once when the kid that was driving it got pulled over but stalled out somehow as he was pulling onto the shoulder and i guess kept stalling cuz he was nervous. The statie was yelling at him to pull over through his loudspeaker then after 30 seconds he rammed him and pushed him off the road himself then had the car towed and impounded.

That depends where you're at. Only recently was this made a law in Michigan. People are still learning to grasp the concept and it's irritating as hell when they don't get out of the way.

Ohio is terrible for it too.
