ORIGINAL: alvinho

I was rinding yesterday on the Los Angeles Crest highway, known to be very dangerous and causings a lot of accidents.
Glad you are ok, man. Lesson learned, i'm sure. You shouldnt ride out of your skill level. You are right, Sh*t happens, but it would happen much less often if you werent on an advanced road with 2 months riding experience going 100 mph (60 intot he turn).

Ok, rant over.

Man, I can't imagine what was going through your mind at the time. Like everyone said, great job in not freaking out. You'll be a better rider since you are one of the lucky ones that has another chance to build on your mistakes.

that was crazy....i was like ok another story of a close call, then you had it on camera, that showed the reality, even though you obviously made it i was worried you were not going to, i was wondering how you were going to make it back in the right lane without hitting that truck. i dont know how you stopped and went back over (even though that was the right thing to do) after something like that, i would have been too shaken up to do that, i know i have been before.

"after further review of the play"...it looks like you went into the turn fine, then target fixated when you took a look at that car while making the bend. at least thats what i got out of it...

Well first, congrats for living through it.

Second, LEARN FROM IT!!!

You should have been able to take that turn EASY from the lean angle on the bike. A 60mph sweeper?

It appears that the only reason you are alive is because that driver was paying attention.

Concentration drifting = dead rider.

Glad to still have you with us.
Did you actually swipe the car?
Good job maintaining balance, recovering, and not dying.
