I took a ride out to the local honda shop saturday to get some coolant and a honda hat. Anyways, while I was out there I was looking around and tucked all the way back in the corner was this little beauty. A Brand New 1998 CBR Smokin Joe's edition that never even had its first servicing.

I got to asking the lady about it and she said that they had had it since it was new back in 97-98 and that it was one of the ones that didn't sell and they put it in storage. they recently got it back out, but I was surprised to learn that it was recently sold on ebay to a buyer out of canada. Apparently he has already paid for it but hasn't picked it up yet. she said he's a wealthy type and has a motorcycle collection and his plans for the bike are for it to go in a glass case inside his living room. lol

Just thought it was a neat find that i'd share with all you smokin joe's fans out there.

 

That is awesome. Sad that itll never see the road but atleast it may end up in a nice collection.

 

Wow that is pretty rare to see a 13 year old bike that has never seen the road. Wonder what is sold for.

 

Wow...I know money cannot buy you luv...but it can really make one really happy!!! Guess it's rich boys toys...like shopping on eBay...oh...I'll take this and pick up next year...
