That is the reason why at my dealership we test ride each bike to get that little slick coating off the new tires so stuff like that doesn't happen.

Whatever way you do 'em, scrub the tires on a new bike.

 

Does look like Tire shine. I did almost crash because of new tires. I barely hit my back brake while slowing down doing 70mph and I felt the rear break loose.

Personally I would guess that 80% of the people who buy a new GSXRwhateverand call it a"Gixxer" probably wreck within the first week of owningthe bike.
