You can tell after he gets up and adjusted his jacket that he was embarassed as hell!!!!! That would be a very strange moment. Kinda feel for the guy, but damn its funny.

[sm=jawdrop.gif]WTF? Why would you pull a bike with a rope?
so i'm out riding last week and came up on a fellow red rider on the side of the highway...his bike was dead, would not turn over or anything...we were 1/2mile from the closest exit...we tried to figure out a way to pull/push his bike to the exit, which was at the top of a hill...mission not accomplished.. he finally told me to ride on, he would just push to the exit..i felt bad about leaving him though...i've thought about putting a piece of rope under the passenger seat in case this situation arose in the future...i'm too smart to try the car pull thing, but, how about slowly with another bike? good idea or bad?

Not a good idea, if you do the rope needs to be tied with a loop on the dead bikes front forks so it will pull evenly and not to one side like the video. Oh ya go slow if you do deciede to do it.

RE: airborn!

the only safe way to tow a bike is to ease into slowly with the rope not tied to anything but with the rider off the bike getting towed holding the rope in his hands that way if anything goes wrong all the rider has to do is let go of the rope, because if something goes wrong the bike doing the towing will eat **** also, let us know how you go
