Yeah like I said I've done it. Just something you might want to work on cause watching a video gives people the opportunity to nit pick on every detail.

In Missouri this is about as rural as you can get while still on a paved road. It serves Clearwater Lake or it wouldn't be paved. Turns out it wasn't paved very well. It takes ten minutes just to get the first dwellings. Most of them are empty, awaiting summer vacationers. In summer the population along the road triples. Probably not this year, however, as I discovered the lake was higher than even the old timers could remember. It was also a cloudy day. The system overhead was part of the storm that flattened Joplin, MO, 200 miles to the west.

Finally figured out how to make the GoPro sound halfway decent.

Long story short: Micover covered by the elastic part of a dress sock. Video shortly.

High ridge isn't quite far enough away from the city for my tastes. I've covered most of the state and the best roads I've found so far lay within a circle formed by Potosi, Steelville, Salem, Bunker, and Ironton. Most the roads down there are long, sparsely-populated, and well-paved.

Hit me up if you want to ride. I'm usually a loner, but it wouldn't hurt to ride with someone else.
