2 1/8 Mile Passes
 

A couple 1/8 mile passes from today at Coatal Plains Dragway Jacksonville, NC riding my 2006 CBR100RR. Still working on the throttle trying not to wheelie and get the times down. Any suggestions to get faster are always appreciated! :icon_beerchug:

I have a question, why aren't you throttling up prior to the launch?

On the second video you could hear the guy with the 'Busa revving prior to the green and he got the holeshot big time.

If it were me, I'd be throttling up into the power, leaning as far forward as I could then dumping it.

But then if it were me, I'd probably end on my ass as well :D

I don't use much RPM off the line because the clutch slams and bogs the motor. Either that or it'll stand the bike up right off the line. I do try to give it a little gas and ride the clutch off the line. I'll try a little more next time ;-)
All the bikes I ran against are slammed and stretched (mine is stock) so they were destroying me off the line.

Little rear brake to stop the wheelie? Only know that from motgp not experience haha!

Acouple passes from Jan 20th. Used a little more throttle off the line and dropped 2 tenths. New PB of 7.11.

Nice work!! Tempted to try something like this here in the uk, but that's months away at the moment, due to the 5 inches of snow aha
