Correct. To your question about replacing the springs, it is something you probably can DIY. It does take a little bit of consideration before you start though. There are tons of great videos on how to do it as well existing threads on here. Also, it's covered in section 12 of the service manual. If you don't have one, you can download a copy from a thread in the f3 sticky section.

I think I got it adjusted where I like it.

I've got a random green wire not attached to anything down by my front sprocket cover. Tried to get a picture but my phone died. Any thoughts on what it is?

Not off the top of my head. I'd have to see a pic. try tracing it backwards to see where it originates. That will help identifying.

I think I traced traced it back to the junction right in front of the battery. But its then goes to a jumble of wires I'd have to tear the electrical tape all off to trace

You got me on that one. I will need to look at the wiring diagram to see if I can figure it out.

Well I'm guessing it involves my neutral switch,
My neutral light doesn't come on and the bike won't crank acts like it's got the kill switch on.

Did you do any work in that area and maybe accidently removed it? Your bike was running.

Just a follow-up I found where the wire goes there's a plug sticking out to the left of the front sprocket just set back a little hard to see.
