help me with under dash wiring
Hey guys and gals.
I've been slowly rejuvenating my cbr600f3, and the biggest hassles have been hose routing and wiring.
Yes I should have taken pics before I pulled it apart.
Shame on me.
I have a workshop manual, as well as a PDF of the factory Honda manual.
Both are pretty useless for this.
I have everything plugged in under the seat, but I have a few strays under the dash.
For the life of me, I cannot find plugs to match on these last 2.
I plugged in the battery just now to see whats working.
Dash lights, check
Headlight and tail light, check
Indicators, check
Horn. check
Motor turns over, check
I didn't hear the fuel pump at all, but then, the wires for that are under the seat, not up front.
Sorry for the crappy pics. Here's a short clip to maybe see what I mean better.
HELP!!

Hi matey ,been checking out the wiring diagrams for the first picture, the only thing I can come up with for that combination is Position Light, Green and Brown wires, But that's only on the 87-91, what colours go into the other connectors?
I will take a look at my 98 and see if I can help. BTW, the fuel pump only comes on after the bike has started on this generation. If want to test it to be sure, there a procedure in the service manual. I'll look it up and give you the page numbers when I get the manual in my hands.

I will get the bike outside for a better pic.
Thanks for the pic and manual advice hamlin
The problem with the leftover connectors is that there doesn't appear to be anything to plug them into at all.
I don't know if they're redundant from the factory or not.
Just seems strange to me.
All the plugs are color coded and size matched for each other, so I cant really stuff it up.
Well, its possible lol, but it all looks right.

Hi
No new harness.
I undid it all as I re-painted the chassis while the engine was still in.
Just to get rid of rust, not really a cosmetic thing.
Also, the front fairing stay was twisted and bent to one side as well, so all the wiring had to come out.
Kicking myself for not taking notes/pics, and labeling the wires.
Yep, all lights work, indicators and horn, as well as dash lights
