Yer , this topic has been put up before , but not for ages !!!

and as I started the thread , om going to tell my own story first...
)the very brief version :-)

I am a somewhat lowly Tradie ... and I LOVE MY JOB !!! :-)

A plumber by trade , but I do lots of other construction work as well these days . Renovating homes ect as well ....

I go to work every day and deal with the needs and wants of other people , that I more than often do not know before I go ...

I get to meet heaps of people here, that mostly are very happy to see me turn up ...
Yes , by the nature of what I do , I DO stain my body and soul every day!!, to do and fix things for others that they can not do of fix for themselves ...
....but it doe's keep me fit and strong :-)

People ring me , with no water? , no gas? , no hot water? , water leaking into there roofs ! , blocked drains ? .. or people that want something built that they want bad!!.... a new roof , a new bathroom? a new veranda ? , a new room ? , that they cannot build themselves and these jobs I especially like ! ...

but at the end of the day ....ALL these people call us ,
" the poor old Tradie's " :-)

I do get paid very well to destroy myself physically every day one way or another ! and in my late 50's , most days hurt a bit ! lolol , but I still love it ! ...

I get to see the smiles on there faces when what they want is done and they are happy as pigs in **** ! lolol

I have never been kicked off a job, or ever had to walk away from a job under any circumstances ... and I specialise , after over 34 years at the job , bringing a smile to nearly all ! of my clients faces, with a good personal attitude and always , a huge amount of joking and in some cases , **** stirring on site !!:-) to make them laugh ....

People are good and I love whacking as I put it ...
" a smile on there dial " when I leave .... lololol

As I said , my job is very hard on me physically , but I love it !

BTW ... I was signed up to the Air Force military accademy here as a would be fighter pilot when I was 16 ....Even today! , I am so glad I walked away from that ...

What do you do for a living ? are you happy with what you are doing with your life so far ?
