Voltage regulator changed.... but still have the...

Voltage regulator changed.... but still have the same problem, at idle got around 14.8 volts and if i throttle the voltage goes up...

What else need to check???

Hurricane.. electrical problem

My 1990 hurricane starts to burn the starter relay 30A fuse. I start the bike but around 7 seconds later the fuse blows.


what can be? Rectifier?

Interested... my CDI is one plug from 1990 hurricane, not 2 plugs from the older years.

But first let me check the wiring, hopefully the problem is there.

Fortunately found this post... righ now i have the exact same problem with same simptoms on my 1990 hurricane. The difference is i donīt have 12v leading to the CDI also.

yes, i unwire the headlights but doesnt result, about kickstand i dont think because the bike is in neutral.

Tomorrow im goint to check some wiring to see if i hit the problem

Yesterday changed the headlights bulbs (NOTE: i get the 12v signal from some wire that send signal when switch is in ON position), i start the bike and around a minute later it shut down.

Why not just open the swing arm half inch at each side to match the F2 wheel. I think that is the easiest way.

Carb sync question

What is best...

sync separately carbs 1 and 2 then 3 and 4 or sync the four carbs at a same time.

I'm going to use a home made carb sync tool

The shock was in position 7 so what i do was set...

The shock was in position 7 so what i do was set the shock to position number 3, that really helps, now i feel a more comfortable on the bike but feels a little loose

How to lower rear height?

I am a short person and i can't completly put my foots on the ground so i lower the front of the bike but still need to lower the rear too and there isn't any aftermarket lowering bones to do it.
