While the performance gains might be what intimidates you, the CBR is still very easy to drive. I think you'd be comfortable in no time, and in fact probably regret forcing yourself down a notch...

there were indeed some early 08s with oil-burning and clutch issues, but those should be super easy to spot at this stage. mine never had an issue. the newer the better, from my point of view;...
