Afraid I'm a bit far from you in the UK.

Nothing wrong with riding alone though, you can go at your own pace and not feel pressured to keep up with anyone else.

I'm a lone wolf myself, prefer the freedom.

However if you want to meet local riders, the best way is probably to find out where the local bikers cafes are, go along and chat to people. After all, you've got a common interest and I've yet to meet the guy/gal that doesn't want to talk about their bike

There are a bunch of Aussie riders on here. Try the regional section...

Yeah that's a long way away hawk lol I don't mind riding on my own at all but because i don't have an open class license at the moment I have to ride with someone that does witch sucks lol. If I didn't get fined the other day I'd keep riding with out it lol but that could get costly or I could loose my bike and that would break a mans heart lol. I might have to try that hawk

What a stupid law, isn`t it great living in a free country, not even Kim Il D1cknose would come up with such a ridiculous rule.

I’m with you, I like my own company, enjoy riding alone and love a full day out my myself, I’ll always end up chatting to someone over a cup of tea.

Wow what stupid rule .
I've always been a solo rider , never even had friend who rode until recently, and he lives 3 hours away .
I like the groove of setting my own pace and stopping only when I feel like it .
