Velcro a strip of chamois, to the pinkie-side edge of your left glove.
Use it as a squeege. There is no avoiding that kind of mist entirely,
so it's adapt and overcome. The rain-ex or car polish help, as well.
If it's that common in your area, something along the lines of a wiper
on the edge of your glove is the only way to go. It'll be worth the
effort.
The other way to deal with most of it is wind-deflection. A taller wind-shield
or an adjustable air-deflector wing added to the existing. Get the air to break
about the top of your head, that'll help a lot. Or, I believe, some-one
mentioned tucking in on the stock shield.

I was reading that thread from the PNW forum about and from what I was reading the best combination seems using Plexus to clean the visor and Nikiwax Visor Proof to keep the water off. The Plexus is a special plastic cleaner (think it might be patented) that doesn't us ammonia which is bad for plastic apparently. Others on the thread seemed to think that the Plexus was enough and were accustomed to flicking their head to get the water to blow or something. I can't imagine the whiplash they must have felt afterwards. There were even suggestions about crouching down below your windscreen, seems kinda desperate to me though, but with the Nikiwax you don't even have to do that, that even at slow speeds "the rain that hit the visor disappeared instantly--no pilling up, no turning my head to "flick" the water off, it just doesn't stick!" I suppose you could use Rain-ex just make sure it doesn't have ammonia. Finger squeegees are cool too mixed with neoprene gloves and anti-fog on the inside of the visor and your ready to weather any storm
