Hello and question!

New to the forum here. :icon_nic:

Ive been looking around and reading and everything seems like an awesome site for info and tips!

However I have my own little question/problem. Seems to be a fairly reoccuring question. Popping wheelies!

Ive read and watched youtube videos over and over. I was out practicing wheelies today on a very secluded flat road. I only got one good one out of many many tries. The whole "clutch up" concept I cant seem to perfect, in fact, I cant seem to get at all. Everytime I try it. I go in first gear like recommended and i slip the clutch just a little but but it will not come up AT ALL. the only way i can get it up even just a few inches is just to take it to high rpms and crank and pull it up. The clutch up I cant even get off the ground. I go to about 5 or 6k rpms and slip the clutch just a little bit to where it gets to about 10 or 11k then dump it and it wont come up. Im trying to make sure i keep the throttle going so i dont let off but it wont come up. No matter how hard i try i cant get it to come up an its really frustrating. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. And just so we all know I have a 2006 cbr600rr and judging by what ive read it should come up no problem. What do you think im doing wrong?!?!

I have never pulled a wheelie but from what I have read do this...

Shift into 2nd and ride it hard up to 7k RPMs right when you hit 7k let off the throttle fast. This will drop the front hard and right when it drops throttle hard. This will get you up. pretty much bounces your bike.
