High rpm launches are no good if you are required to let off the throttle just off the starting line either due to wheel spin or a wheelie. Sorry to the guy in the above video but revving your bike to the rev limiter then as soon as you launch letting off the gas then getting back on the gas is not the best way to launch a motorcycle. Your times will be better if you find the rpm where you can launch and dump the clutch as soon as possible and stay full throttle except for cracking the throttle to shift.
