Even better idea CJardine.. I love it. What do tpms systems cost for bikes in general? Pro's and cons? I have seen the bulky ones that thread on the valve stems. I don't care them cosmetically.

Motorcycle Tire Pressure Monitoring System

The only con I can think of is dropping $150 on a set of valve stems, hence me not getting it; although wouldn't it be trick.

this is definitely something I need to get in the habit of doing. I already need a new front tire ... no need to further the troubles.

I hate those TPMS systems. Every month or so, my mother-in-law comes over and says "that little light on my dashboard is on again! Can you look at my car?"

And I'm like "wtf, old lady? Go to a tire shop and get that bull$hit patched. Do I look like a garage?"

I about spit my drink through my nose when i read what kilgoretroug wrote. Funny but true. Actually having a live tire pressure reading can be life saving. Triple digit speeds and a red light flashes as your tire goes low could save your butt. I Have been looking further into this and contemplate it as i have found a set that have a remote screen read temperature and pressure live every three seconds / flashing from blue to red if it drops pressure. Little can be said about the longevity of the products and vendors at this point though.

You're right. I'm gonna start sending her bills.
It would be different if she watched our kids once in a while so we could go to dinner or get it on or something.
That's it, I'm charging her shop rates.

Btw, I think the tpms for bikes is sorta cool. IF it was inconspicuous and it worked right.

hehe now you can start a little garage business, yea if it could integrate into a set of gauges it would be perfect.
