OK.. time to get some more serious gloves
I have a set of Joe Rocket mesh gloves. Although they are incredibly comfortable, they don't offer much protection at all.
In a perfect world, I would get a set of 3 season gloves that would be comfortable from 50* all the way to mid 90s. They would offer comfort and some protection in the (heaven forbid) case I need them. I don't want a full gauntlet. 3/4 gauntlet or short cuff would be my choice. Some armor is better than just some foam. I am prepared to spend more than I did for my mesh gloves, but I don't want to break the bank (>$100)
Here are some that I am considering:
Alpinestars 3/4 Gloves $69.99

Alpinestars SP-S Gloves $89.99

Icon Merc Short Gloves $80
http://www.newenough.com/gloves/stre...le_gloves.html
Speed and Strength Twist of Fate SX Gloves $71.95
http://www.newenough.com/gloves/stre...sx_gloves.html
Sportbiketrackgear has the Teknic Chicane full gauntlet gloves on closeout special for $35.95, and to be honest for that price its almost too good to pass up.... but I dont know...
TEKNIC Chicane Gloves 09

What do you all think? Any and all opinions welcome.
Thanks,
Adam

i know its prolly below yer guys level of performance (ive not yet been on a track) but i just got a pair of nice seeming Miyuki(?) gloves w the carbon knockle and finger-backs for 19$ NEW post paid from Ridersdiscount.com on ebay.
they seem nice - only thing is the knockle buble part sits farther back than my actual knuckle.. looks from the pictures like this might be an issue w. them too? i havent broke mine in yet, but the quality seems nice and the price!
the materials are legit- schoeller,kevlar,3m...
worth looking at this store anyway they treated me really well and quick free ship.
crap, i sound like an advert.

update- 19$ gloves i posted above-
the wierd feeling that the carbon armor was out of place went away after wearing them twice.
the leather reorganized itself to fit perfectly.
unfortunately thats not riding wear. theres a pile of snow so high i couldnt get my bike to the street if i was brave enough. i like'em so much im just wearin em around.
