Default numb hands

Does anyone know why my hands go numb when I'm riding? It doesn't take long either, only about 20-25 minutes. I tried bigger gloves and that didn't help. It got worse when I got my CBR, maybe viberation? My last bike didn't viberate as much, and I don't think my hands gave me many problems, at least that soon.I would really appreciate any bodys advice. Thank you!

Sometimes, but I picked up a pair of teknic gloves and it has some type of foam in the palm that really helps out, havent had numbs hands since I also had gloves with the gel palm but they didnt stop the vibration as much. You can also buy heavy bar ends that are suppose to help cut down the vibration http://www.hvmp.com/honda.htm

You could always give these Motovation bar ends a try. They are heavier than stock to cancel out the vibrations that cause discomfort and fatigue when riding. They are available in polished stainless steel or black powder coated.

You get used to it. You can get Gel grips or gel palmed gloves to make it a bit better.

Same thing happens to me man. When I'm riding my cruiser is doesn't but i think the vibes with my CBR causes my thumb and index finger to go numb. Gloves will definately help but they need to by the ultra-delux kind but it's worth it!

Thanks everybody! It sounds like I need to get some better gloves and even some weighted bar ends.

Let go of the death grip .. in most riding situations your hands should be very relaxed on the grips not actually gripping them .. not only does it alleviate numbness you actually control the bike better.

oh yea, and as X said:

Please reduce your sig size as it way exceeds our size limits. Thank You
