I have a Teknic Chicane textile jacket that I wear early in the season to maybe low 70s.. It has a great liner for colder temps, but there are only two bicep vents and because of that it becomes a real cooker when the temps go up..

so I'm looking for something that offers solid protection, value, and ventilation.... bike is silver and red.

So far the Scorpion Hat Trick in 'first place'



I like the mesh and textile construction with the two liners making it all weather..

Here are some others I am considering...

Icon Stage 3 Merc textile
Like the look.. not too sure about the vents although the spandex panels should flow a decent amount.. also not sure about the sleeve cuffs.. doesnt appear to have zippers or snaps..


Speed and Strength Twist of Fate textile
I like the look and it looks solid.. good ventilation.. a bit more money but might be worth it..



Alpinestars T-Sniper Textile
Love the look and the protection seems great.. but doesnt look like it has much in the way of ventilation..



Does anyone have first hand experience with any of these?

I had also considered the Joe Rocket UFO, the Rocket CBR mesh, and the First Geat Tex-Mesh... but these are the ones that I am more inclined to go for..

I decided to order the Hat Trick in red and black.. newenough has it for a steal... ran into a guy this morning during a ride... he had the jacket and really liked it.. looked great too..

I'll let you know how I like it... should have it by mid to late this week.

That's definitely my favorite of the ones you listed.
Just a sharp lookin' jacket, imo.

 

Dude i have everyone of those jackets but the speed and strenght one here is the one I rode in today

 

just as a follow up... I went with the Scorpion Hat trick in red and black.. got it today.. awesome... it fits great, looks better than the pictures even and it is comfortable.. havent ridden in it though.. just got in from work and its supposed to rain tomorrow.
