ICON cheek pads
I know I read somewhere that ICON helmets had replaceable cheek pads that allow you to resize your helmet...? That the L, XL, and XXL all have the same shell I think? Can't find the post but I'm kinda curious now b/c I went out on a limb and ordered my Domain 2 without trying it on b/c it was so cheap on eGay... But I tried the same helmet on in town the other day - I tried on an XL and it seemed to fit perfectly, so now I'm afraid the Large I ordered isn't gonna work. Is it possible or am I dreaming that you can swap the cheek pads out for a better fit??
Icons website isn't real clear on the 'resizing' of things. I have found the cheek pads for sale but I'm not sure if I can swap out my Large cheek pads for XL and have a better fit.
anybody?

RE: ICON cheek pads
what the different size cheek pads do is make the helmet fit better, meaning your head needs to fit the helmet, but maybe in the cheek area its a little tight, or a little loose....thats where cheek pads come into the picture. You dont want to cram your head into the helmet and try to make up for it with smaller cheek pads.

Well hopefully it's just the cheek area that bothers me - the Scopion I borrowed to go pick the bike up is a Large and overall it fit fine, but it pushed my cheeks together so much I could hardly talk lol. Rest of it seemed okay around my noggin'.
Fingers are crossed that things fit fine. I sure can't wait to ride!
