I have no experience with Icon or 707 helmets, but the scorpion exo 400 is both dot and Snell approved. It is also more resistant to fogging up than the Shoei (I will need to get something to remedy that before the fall weather gets here).

I got the EXO750 Eternity in red for xmas, then bought a gold mirrored facehield. I get compliments all the time. I freakin love the thing! The moisture wicking pads are MONEY! And the pump up cheekpad feature is just awesome.

Yeah I bought a blue mirrored face shield. I am loving it so far just still a little snug, mostly on my forehead. It is really breathable with all the vents open and pretty light. Seems to not bobble around very much at highway crushing speeds and also isn't very loud.

^^^ I know exactly what you mean with the forehead pressure. I would get a headache after a 15 mins when i first got it because of the forehead squeeze. i would actually watch tv with my helmet on to break it in but it didnt help the forehead mark.

HOW TO FIX.
Take out the forehead pads then use your thumb to SLIGHTLY indent and compress the styrofoam only in the forehead area where is hurts. It's very easy to compress using your thumb. GO SLOW SLOW SLOW, be careful not to compress to much because this cannot be undone. Im talking maybe less than 1mm.

No more sore forehead or severe red pressure mark.

I got one of these late last year, loving it. Amazingly light and comes with a full padding set for adjustment. Really good quality and great looking.
I got the matte black n red striped one, looks so much better in the flesh too.

Just wrecked my bike 7 weeks ago. I was wearing a helmet that was very tight. A size smaller than I should have had. I went down hard, at 50+ and ended up with 2 dislocated teeth. After reading your post, I am wondering if my helmet was two small, and that is why it jacked my teeth. The helmet was very close to my chin. If I stretched my chin, it would touch helmet. I have always been told the tighter the better. As long as it is not giving you headaches.

Ya if I stretch my chin out it will touch also. And sick does your mirrored faceshield scratch easy? It seems like mine gets them really easy I only store it in my tank bag while I need my clear for night time. I am surprised how many scratches it alreadys has
