Right now I'm looking at the Alpinestars RC-1, SP-1 and Shift Racing Vortex Jacket/Leather pants combo. I don't really have a chance to see the suits up close and personal and it looks like the three A* 2-piece suits I mentioned are pretty much identical. Anyone have first hand experience and can offer some feedback?

What's the primary difference between the A* RC-1 and SP-1 2-piece suits? Quality differences between A* and Shift Racing quality?

I'm only putting the Shift Racing Vortex Jacket/Pants combo on the list because I saw a video review of the jacket and it seemed really good with the liner and all the perforation.
